Game Portal in Cloud
Rozsypálek, Václav ; Maliulin, Valerii (referee) ; Škoda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of gaming portal in the cloud for one of the providers of Platform as a Service (PaaS). The main part of this work is the selection of appropriate technologies and their use in the design and implementation of gaming portal. The conclusion is written based on the results of testing load and scalability.
Android Application for Children with Easy Content Expansion
Turcovský, Jakub ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with draft and implementation of the project, thanks to which parents can themselves create content of applications for their children. These applications are mostly games which support mental development of preschool children and teach them how to work with touch devices. This project, called Tamaty (note: the name is made from Czech words for Dad, Mom and You), consists of a web framework that allows parents to upload media files at server, create a package, then download the package to Android applications which will make a children game from it. For the purposes of this thesis I've implemented variations on the well-known games pexeso and puzzle.
The pairs game development for Android tablets
Kharashvili, Ketevan ; Pavlíček, Josef (advisor) ; Hanzlík, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with The pairs game development for Android tablets. In theoretical part it describes the operating system Android in its basics including its architecture and realeased versions, continuing with its application interface, which is necessary for the development of applications for this system, and concludes with the description of tools that are vital for the application creation process. Among the mentioned tools it explains the Android SDK Manager, which is needed for the managment of installed versions of application interface on computers, as well as respective development environments including their terms of use. It follows with the introduction of object base programming language Java, which was used to create an application for this thesis. other described tool is Google Play, which is used for application publishing and distribution among users. Practical part ilustrate the process of development of ealier mentioned game and gives step by step explanation of the game programming. It also shows details of some elements that were applied and points out on some used codes. Specificaly the game is Pairs.
Memory game - the game like didactic tool in the process of education of visual art on the level of the primary schools and the primary art schools
BLÁHOVÁ, Lenka
This master thesis consists of two basic parts. The theoretical part which focuses on the definition and historical evolution of games from the point of view of their function in the process of pedagogy, and the practical part which is Memory game, created by the author. Games as a phenomenon, and their functions and importance within the context of the educational process at the level of elementary education, with a particular focus on art education are analysed in this master thesis. The developed Memory game by the author has a strong didactic accent, the goal of which is to mediate the area of visual art to students. The last part of this master thesis is a detailed description of the process of using the developed didactic tool during teaching and its graphical documentation.

Pexeso ("Concentration game") as an arbiter of bounded-rationality models
Kuběna, Aleš Antonín
Among board games, Pexeso (Concentration game) for two players is a game almost purely output-oriented, i.e. the optimal play is not given by strategic plans with long-term horizon (e.g. no short-term tactical sacrifice is observed). So, the optimal strategy and game dynamics may be calculated almost analytically, assuming a given rationality restrictions of the players. In the paper, the optimal strategy for two players is solved using dynamic programming. Further, it is proved that for rational players, the game would end with ”stalemate” (the game never ends) with a probability close to 1. Further, the game dynamics is described if a rationality restriction is given such that the players perform a random move instead of the optimal one with probabilities P,Q > 0. In this case, the probability of a stalemate is equal to zero.
